We had towards the end of the year sent out numerous emails asking customers who had purchased certain balls, if they would rather receive the item inflated and in a retail style box, or if they would prefer to receive them deflated in a plastic bag. Surprisingly enough, the overwhelming response was that most customers would rather have a basketball for example, deflated. 82% of the survey had told us that the retail packaging was worthless and was thrown away in seconds anyway. Half had told us that even after receiving their ball, a gauge was inserted and pressure checked and either inflated or deflated to their liking as well, and that getting the ball flat, or partially flat made no difference what so ever. A large number of customers who had made purchases through Amazon had indicated that they had purchased them as a gift, and deflated them and placed them into a smaller box to save on shipping cost when sending them elsewhere.<br />Our Tachikara volleyballs are properly inflated and placed into a protective "bubble". We are going to continue to send them out in this manner, as when not in use, the bubble proves to be a great clear container to keep your prized ball protected on the shelf for future use.
